Full Circle

My child was born during my last semester of college. Graduating on time was a miracle and a group effort on part of my room mates, friends, and teachers. Tomorrow I am going up  to that same place with her and leaving her there to teach a design course as adjunct faculty this spring. I am so proud and so grateful. It just feels awesome. There are still faculty members there who went to visit us at the hospital. I was a foreign young student, with no family support, no partner, but with an entire school community backing me up. Now my kid is coming back to show what a good deed they all did.  Fall 1982, if you where in Mount Desert Island, My deepest Thanks.
