I just left a meditation class because it was either too introductory or not very cohesive. I honestly do not think i would have left good beginners class, because an opportunity to practice a well guided meditation is always delightful. But I take full responsibility for the mistake. I have had a sitting practice for about 12 years. and would like to participate in a Vipassana retreat in the near future. I thought this class would be an introduction to Vipassana and its origins, and when I asked if it was, I was told that it would include a variety of methods for beginners. If I had been listening carefully I would have heard that the answer was not really. My bad.
